Regular Hours:

The office is open Monday through Friday 7:30  am to 5:00 pm. Each physician has patient hours four days each week for your convenience.

When calling for an appointment please provide the receptionist with the reason for the visit or the nature of your problem. This is very important because it allows us to schedule enough time for your visit and to give priority to those who are most seriously ill. Please be assured that absolute confidentiality is our policy.

If you are unable to keep a scheduled appointment, please notify us as soon as possible. This courtesy may allow an ill patient to be seen in your place.

The Telephone:

We answer a tremendous number of telephone calls each day. We make every effort to take your call promptly.

Please provide the receptionist with as many details as possible so that we may direct your call accurately and give you the best possible response.

The telephone is a great convenience and each call may save each of us much time and inconvenience. Most of our patients appreciate this. It is not possible to provide the highest quality healthcare over the phone, however, and it is our policy not to treat illness over the phone. Occasionally, this may occur, but follow-up visits my be needed to be certain that you get the best care.

Prescriptions & Renewals:

All prescriptions and authorizations for renewals should be requested during regular office hours. Please provide us with at least 24 hours notice if possible. Patients must be periodically re-evaluated to continue with prescription renewals as required by state regulations.

Emergencies:

True medical emergencies should be treated at the local hospital emergency department.  Should you need emergency services please dial 9-1-1.  If you need to reach our physician on-call after hours please call our answering service at 814-946-5469.
